We’re putting together stuff for out next little ep / mini album and while I was going through some of my unfinished bits and pieces I found this little thing based around a loop I created using a Mellotron emulator:

The thing is I don’t really know what to do with it so I’ve put the stems up on the net for people to do with as they wish.

So here you go. Stems are all 44kHz wavs with ableton info files and all files are released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 license.

I remembered a song that I started almost exactly a year ago on my way back from work and thought it would make a good first addition to my new Bandcamp profile.

This will not be on the forthcoming demo / ep thing that I hope to get finished in the very near future but just something that I wanted to put up. Enjoy.

Just updated the TMCD1 (we are going to call it something different, can’t remember what now) playlist on Fairtilizer. Probably going to add 1, maybe 2 more songs (maybe including a cover) and then put the whole lot up for download and maybe make a few CDs too. Won’t that be nice?

Oh, there’s someting new on the remixes page as well. Hmmmm….

A while back I did a remix / re-version of a song by my old band Toy #1 called Atari Joystick. Dan from the band asked me if I still had it but somehow I’ve managed to lose the final mp3 and the source files so here’s the 2008 redux version.

Cheers to everyone that saw me do the acoustic gig in slough last week. It was fun. Don’t know if I really fitted in to a punk night but never mind it seemed to go down well.

Apart from that I’ve been working on a couple of songs that will be on the first Tiger Mendoza download release which will probably be called TMCD1 (imaginative? No, but never mind eh?) and will be ready for the end of Jan 2009. Won’t that be great? Here are a couple of tracks for you to listen to:

‘Tokyo Triangle’ features the lovely Helena Markou on vocals. We’ll be working on some other new songs together as well but they’re not ready yet.

Here are 2 new songs that I’m not going to touch anymore otherwise I’ll end up ruining them.

There’s a couple more but they need vocals so will probably be another couple of weeks. Also, anyone noticed the way that MySpaz have started changing links? Also the wording at the end of their song upload script is quite interesting…
