I’ve been obsessed with the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series since I picked up the first game for the PS1 when it was released back in 1999. I’ve played pretty much all of the games in the series, dipping in and out, especially when the Skate 1 – 3 came out, but recently I’ve got back in to playing the games again thanks to things like the official THPS 1+2 and 3+4 remasters (which are a lot of fun) but particularly thanks to the fan made reTHAWed super mod for Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland.
reTHAWed let’s you customise your Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater experience in a number of different ways but one of the coolest features for me is the ability to add your own custom music to the game. Yes you can just play / stream songs from other services while you play but the THPS soundtracks are legendary and I discovered so many songs and bands from those soundtracks so I’ve always wanted to get my music on to a THPS soundtrack. This is probably as close as I’ll ever get 🙂
