Original artwork from CAGE #1 by Genndy Tartakovsky It’s fair to say that I was pretty obsessed with Netflix’s Luke Cage last year and in particular the amazing score by Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad. So I made this little mix tape using re-edits of some of the pieces from the score and some pretty legendary hip hop vocals. Streaming and download links below.

cof 2016. What a year. Personally, locally, nationally and internationally….What. A. Year.
Thankfully the soundtrack was good. From my point of view, I’m very proud to have put out The Shadow with the brilliant David Griffiths and also helped put together the WDNHAD Vol. 2 compilation. There has also been tons of other great stuff to listen to as well which has made things a bit easier to swallow.

Kickstarter campaign for Ian Norris’ Fixed Up – Volume 1
Ian Norris did the pretty awesome cover art for the last 2 Tiger Mendoza / David Griffiths albums: “Along Dangerous Roads” and “The Shadow“. He has also just launched a Kickstarter to help put a graphic novel collected edition of his brilliant, self published comic Fixed Up about his life and loves and growing up in South Africa. Go check it out and, you know, back it!
