The last post would probably make a lot more sense if you could hear the Jeff Buckley song so here it is:

Wow that’s an ominious title for a post isn’t it? I have potsed on here for a while so I thought I would now so here goes. Not that much is happening but you never know as you type.
Music? Well I’m getting more and more in to Reason. I should have a new track finished off tonight which is actually a rehash of an old track but I’ll stick both up for ‘compare and contrast purpsoes’ I think. The new version has some pretty cool sounding strings on it which I like.
CD’s? For some reason I got the legacy edtion of Jeff Buckley‘s Grace the other day. It’s weird becuase I originally was against getting it but I guess now I’m really glad I did. If you haven’t heard it, check out the road version of Eternal Life on disc 2. The documentary in the set has a small snippett of Jeff playing Cherub Rock and it kind of spills in to this version of Eternal life. Not a bad thing in my book.
And obviously there’s been the New deftones Album ‘Saturday Night Wrist’ to listen to which is actually better than I thought it would be which is a HUGE relief! CHINO CHINO CHINO!!!!!
Proper post and more tunes soon.
After reading loads of amazing reviews and comments, not to mention Liam Howlett, saying he used it to demo the last Prodigy album, I’m slowly making the transition from Fruity Loops to Reason 3.0 to start making music.
Learning how to use a new package is an arse, let me make that clear, especially when you’ve been using the old software for so long, however just tinkering with Reason makes me feel like it’s a wise choice.
So what have I achieved? Well I have a ‘new’ demo. I say ‘new’ because I orginally started this song in 2003 and just haven’t been able to finish it. However, after importing the samples in from the FL sessions I started off with and also the real guitar samples that I recorded (one of the real downsides of Reason is that there’s no way to record new audio tracks, everything’s in midi (if I’m wrong, please tell me!)), I rejigged it in to it’s current form which you can download and listen to. It really needs a vocal so if you’re interested, please contact me.
Happy (instrumental) Update: This is old and has been taken down. Sorry.
Alright not much more to add but the music downloads are back up if you want any of the music. There will be an online media player, picture viewer and other stuff but that’s for next time I get bored. Click here for the music page.
Well I’ve moved to word press because it’s nicer and I seem to be able to do more with it which is all well and good. Basically, as long as I can put tunes on the site, I don’t care but’s it’s always good if it looks good too! I’ll be changing the look as I go so don’t get to used to what you’re currently seeing….
