Gigs, new music and other fun stuff
First off THANK YOU to everyone that came down to the O2 show a couple of weeks ago. It genuinely was a LOT of fun and we got to play with a lot of other brilliant electronica based bands from Oxford. That and playing the tunes on that p.a. was pretty amazing. There should be some highlights from the night plus maybe even an interview on tomorrow night’s BBC Oxford Introducing. There should also be some pictures from the show up soon too.
So on to new ventures. On Saturday 21st October Oxjam takes over Oxford for 2 days of gigs around the town and we’re happy to say we’ll be playing not 1 but 2 shows on the same day. Crazy. Show times and locations are:
3:45pm – O3 Gallery
6:45pm – Modern Art OxfordIt’s great to see Oxford really get involved in Oxjam and we’re really happy to be a part of it considering how much fun last year‘s show was. Go to the gigs page for more info. Here’s a link to the official Oxford Oxjam site.
We are working on some new music (including and ACE collaboration with Death of Hifi and Asher Dust), a couple of which you would have heard at the O2 Academy gig if you were there. There’s still some stuff to finish off so we’re not to sure on when it’ll be out but hopefully soon. Follow twitter for more regular updates.
There is also one more HUGE thing that we’re close to confirming. I don’t mean to tease (ok, maybe a bit) but trust me, it’s pretty immense…

Summer shows
Greetings.
This summer’s been pretty busy for us. Which is great. Being busy is good.
Firstly there was the gig at The Windmill in Brixton as part of the Oxford Electro All-Dayer with a whole host of other great Oxfordshire based electro acts.
Next though we have a couple of shows a bit closer to home:- Thu 11th August – The Cellar (2 piece show) [Facebook event]
- Sat 13th August – Baby Love bar (DJ set) [Facebook event]
- Sat 27th August – The Wheatsheaf (Full band show)
I’ve also just had a note about another show but more on that soon. Go to the gigs page for more info.
We’re also putting together some tunes for a new ep and hopefully some very cool people will be guesting on it. More information on when it will be coming out soon-ish.
Cheers again to everyone that’s supported us, it genuinely means a lot.

Dinosaurs, Boxes and Riots!
Hello! I don’t want this to be one of those blogs were the poster just apologises repeatedly for not posting for ages but, erm…sorry…
Anyway, a fair bit has happened so let me fill you in. First of all a downsized Tiger Mendoza consisting of Dan and I played a couple of gigs last month with a kind of best of Tiger Mendoza type set with me on controls and vocals and and Mr. O’Driscoll on guitar. To be honest we weren’t sure if it was going to work but it seemed to go down really well. The idea was a king of Amon Tobin / Soulwax type set with lots of TM tracks mixed together in to a continuous 30min mix with Dan playing guitar on top. I suppose it was like trying to convince people to mosh to a DJ set. Which they did. Which was nice. Cheers to Oxbox.tv for having us @ Fat Lil’s in Witney and to Fred Toon for letting play the 2nd and last Psychotechnic League night at The Wheatsheaf, Oxford. You can see some footage and an interview we did at Fat Lil’s by going to the video page. And talking of Mr. Toon…
