    Here are 2 new songs that I’m not going to touch anymore otherwise I’ll end up ruining them.

    There’s a couple more but they need vocals so will probably be another couple of weeks. Also, anyone noticed the way that MySpaz have started changing links? Also the wording at the end of their song upload script is quite interesting…

  • Foo Fighters vs Prince

    I was talking to someone last night and and we got on to the subject of whether or not the Foo’s had lost it. Now, I’m a pretty big Foo Fighters fan, but I was being told that after ‘The Color And The Shape’ they kind of lost it. My friend then went on to say that Prince’s Suberbowl 2007 cover of Best Of You was better than the original.

    So I’m mulling this over (with my chipped tooth after hitting myself in the face with a mic and at a gig last night) and I still have to say ……No. The Foo’s are still great. And maybe I do like the MOR acoustic stuff too much but hey, such is life. So here – Dave’s acoustic version of ‘Times Like These’ from One By One:

  • Wonderwall + Oxford Snakes

    I don’t know why I haven’t posted this on here sooner but here’s my take on Ryan Adams’ version of Wonderwall:

    It’s kind of a dark indusrial hip hop take version which I thought came together nicely after messing around with Ableton Live

    Also I’ve done a remix for Oxford Band Hammer vs The Snake which also came out pretty well so here it is:

    As far as I know they like it and it may be going out on an e.p. they’re putting together soon but that hasn’t been confirmed yet. Cheers to the band for letting a complete stranger mess around with their song.
    I’ve also been messing around with my 4-track, my new guitar and Mr. Sean Mills on some completly stripped down acoustic stuff. When I’ve finished it, I’ll probably stick it up on here as well but I’ll save that for another time….
