5 years ago, Elliott Smith died. His death is probably the only ‘celebrity’ death where I can say I know exactly where I was and what I was doing when I found out (putting out CDs in hight street ‘music retailer’). For better or for worse, he was is one of my favourite song writers and his music has meant a lot to me over the years.
